Donate your machine
Many hope to learn how to sew “someday” or already know how to sew and hope to find time to make those kitchen curtains. What we’ve found is that many people have a brand new sewing machine, sitting in its original box, just waiting for some talented hands to put it to good use. If you are one of these individuals with a fairly new or brand new machine, we would appreciate the donation for our sewing classes. Many young sewers want to learn but cannot afford a machine of their own. By donating your machine, you would be making a lifetime of sewing and charitable works possible.
Donate fabric and sewing materials
Are you cleaning out granny’s attic or happen to know a sewer who is no longer in need of his or her fabric and sewing essentials? Please consider a donation to Sew Kind. We will put it to good use!
Donate your time and expertise
Sewing, in many ways, has been called a lost art. If you are an experienced sewer, please know that there are not many of you out there! If you are interested in sharing your craft with the next generation, please consider volunteering at one of our instructional sessions. We would love to have you! Times and locations TBA
