Gold Award Project

Girl Scout Gold Award

Sew Kind was officially approved and recognized by the Girl Scout Gold Award Committee as an official Gold Award Project in September 2023. Its Founder, Gabriella Rado, is an Ambassador Girl Scout, who is pursuing this award. The Gold Award is the highest achievement for girls scouts in the United States, similar in status to that of Eagle Scout for boy scouts, although not as commonly known. Only about five percent of eligible girl scouts successfully earn this award. A Gold Award project must provide lasting solutions to issues and/ or problems in the community. It must also prove to be sustainable and carry on long after the girl scout is no longer directly involved.
